At Allington Primary School we are incredibly proud of our staff, our children and our combined successes which are underpinned by our school’s values and beliefs. We are proud to be a school where children love to learn and play.
We are a popular school situated on the outskirts of Maidstone and we have served the local community since 1970. In July 2016, we became part of the Orchard Academy Trust, along with Barming Primary School. Historically the school has always been judged at least ‘Good’ by Ofsted and in November 2008 we were thrilled to achieve ‘Outstanding’- a standard we aspire to consistently maintain.
Our children thrive on their learning journey with us and leave us well-prepared for the next stage in their education. Our highly-skilled and dedicated team of staff are central to this success, as is the support given to us by parents. Our children are motivated and interested learners, they are caring and extremely well-behaved and they deserve adults who are able to help them achieve their best. The staff are a team. They are supportive, innovative and committed to enabling the best possible learning experiences in their classrooms.
Trainee teachers at Allington Primary School can expect the best possible start to their career in education. You will be assigned a mentor who will be able to advise, guide and support you throughout your placement. Alongside other KMT primary trainees, you will follow a dedicated programme of lectures and subjects studies enabling you to work alongside experienced primary teachers from other schools.
