Maplesden Noakes is an extremely successful school in the heart of the county town of Maidstone, Kent. We are recognised for having high academic expectations of all our students and for providing an inclusive, caring and supportive environment. Learning is at the heart of everything we do whether for our students or trainee teachers and this combined with strong support from dedicated mentors enables our trainees to flourish and reach their potential.

We tend to recruit between eight and ten trainees a year and pride ourselves on offering specific training and development to support your training year. All trainees are encouraged to reach their potential through our dedicated training programmes that run alongside those offered by our training partner; Kent and Medway Training.

Maplesden Noakes has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and, alongside our partners at Kent and Medway Training and Thomas Aveling, encourage our trainees to participate in a range of activities that will successfully prepare them for a career in teaching.
