Palace Wood Primary School is an exciting place to be. Having been on a long journey, we are delighted to now be a good school in our inspection in July 2017. We are a popular two-form entry primary school situated in a pleasant residential area on the western outskirts of Maidstone. Our children are motivated happy learners, they enjoy school and behave well. We are lucky to have supportive parents and governors and a staff who are very friendly and caring.

We are well known for our sporting achievements and we pride ourselves in being innovative and creative in carrying out our shared vision. We have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Our school and staff will provide you with a fantastic place to begin your life as a teacher. Many of our staff have acted as coaches and mentors for trainees and NQTs and will ensure that you get the best possible support. They will guide you and push you into being the teacher that you want to be, whilst helping you to understand the day-to-day goings-on in a school.
