Medway Valley Training Partnership is
a collaboration of schools in the Medway and Maidstone areas of Kent. We are a mixture of Secondary and Primary schools who use MVTP to recruit School Direct teacher trainees. We work in collaboration in the delivery of workshops and lectures for our trainees alongside our School Direct SCITT partner, Kent and Medway Training.(KMT). KMT manage, accredit and oversee the School Direct courses, not just for us but for over 120 schools throughout the region. All courses are available as either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or with a full Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) top-up course which is led and validated by the University of Leeds Beckett
For September 2022, MVTP welcomed 45 school direct trainees to teaching.
