West Borough Primary School is a Good school with Outstanding features (Ofsted June 2107). We have 16 classes including a maintained nursery.

A set of Core Values underpin all that we do which ensure high expectations of both learning and behaviour. Our inclusive school is based on a large, well-resourced site just outside Maidstone town centre. Our excellent facilities include refurbished classrooms, library, extensive outdoor learning areas and an ASC Satellite. Our school also has a Children’s Centre within the grounds. 

Trainee teachers at West Borough can expect a supportive environment that will enable the trainee to progressively work towards qualifying as an outstanding teacher. You will be assigned your own personal mentor to advise and coach you throughout your placement and with our partners at Kent and Medway Training (KMT), you will, with other KMT primary trainees,  follow a dedicated programme of lectures and subjects studies enabling you to work alongside experienced primary teachers from other schools.
